Since Chrysler introduced the 200 in 2011, it has become one of the most talked about cars in the country. It's a very sporty mid-sized car that comes in a sedan model or a convertible. The base models of the 200 come with a four-cylinder, 2.4-liter engine that delivers 173 horsepower. Depending on which model you want you could end up with an even more powerful motor: a V-6, 3.6-liter that produces 283 horsepower. Either way you go you're going to be happy because it's a Chrysler.

The Kia Optima is a solid little car that has some nice standard features such as, USB interface, four-wheel antilock disc brakes and Bluetooth. You can also get a panoramic sunroof, depending on which level you choose.

2013 Kia Optima Power & Handling

Kia's Optima commutes very solidly in day-to-day traffic and on the freeways. The steering is tight and responsive, and the smooth ride is enhanced by the quiet cabin. Kia also insulated their interior from outside sounds and it truly makes a difference when you drive a quiet car.

The smooth handling and gentle but powerful acceleration of the 200 are noticeable right from the start. Whether you get the four-cylinder or the six-cylinder engine, the Optima is going to perform at your command. It's responsive and stable. In fact it has a stability system and a traction control system that seems to always keep your best interests and safety in mind. These systems let you enjoy a quiet and balanced ride. The four-wheel antilock disc brakes, along with the other electronics, provide an umbrella of safety for you and your passengers. Chrysler seemed to think of everything when they built the 200.

Design of the 2013 Optima

The Kia Optima has sort of a European flair to it; probably because the designer of the Optima worked for Germany's Audi for some time. The exterior has a nice look and a clean feel. The interior has plenty of legroom for a mid-sized car and the seats are comfortable and roomy. Speaking of roominess, the trunk is also quite spacious.

Design of the 2013 Chrysler 200

The 200 is till young but it has matured nicely in the last couple of years. With Chrysler as its parent, no one should be surprised at the 200's expertly designed exterior and interior. The 200 was designed to be a performer and to also be a fun car. It surpasses both goals. It's sporty, stylish and although it has nice lines and subtle features on both the interior and the exterior, it is a flashy car. And it exudes the classic, bold confidence of some of the famous convertibles of the 1950s and 60s. The 200 seems destined to become a classic itself.

Chrysler's 200 is a great car that is perfect for its time. The sportiness of the whole design is going to attract a lot of people who might never have looked at a car in this class. The Optima has a great deal of good features, but somehow looks rather staid when parked next to the 200.
