2013 Hyundai Sonata vs 2013 Chrysler 200 South FL

The retired Sebring ended a great run but opened an opportunity for the 200 to be produced. Chrysler's 200 was introduced in 2011, just as the Sebring was put out to pasture. The 200, since then, has done very well and for being such a young car, it has grown in performance and in popularity. You can get a standard four-cylinder, 2.4-liter engine or the much more powerful six-cylinder motor, depending on which model you choose. You'll get great gas mileage with either engine and plenty of safety features too. Some of the safety features are six airbags, stability and traction control systems and security alarms.

Hyundai's Sonata is a very good mid-sized car and it's one of the popular models on the market today. Since there is so much competition for this well-made car, the Sonata has gone through some upgrades this year. It offers a four-cylinder engine that produces 198 horsepower and also gives you a choice of the turbocharged, four-cylinder that pushes out 274 horses. There a several other engine choices in different levels of the Sonata.

2013 Hyundai Sonata Power & Handling

The Sonata handles very well and you can feel every piece of the road in a good way. The ride is smooth, but when you have your hands on the steering wheel, you just feel like you're walking in a pair of soft moccasins. It's a nice driving experience. The Sonata just feels safe, maybe because it got high grades from IIHS, the safety institution. The traction and stability systems enhance the safety feeling and overall, it handles very well.

2013 Chrysler 200 Power & Handling

The 200 is a fast little car. It can get up to 60 miles an hour in about 6.9 seconds. That's pretty good for that class of car. It also has enough torque to do a lot of passing on the freeway, but watch out for tickets. Acceleration is powerful as well as subtle, which means that you feel that you are in control at every move. If you should get a convertible 200, then you're going to have an interesting driving experience. You will definitely feel that you are part of your total environment: part of the road, part of the air, and part of the sky. You will feel one with your car.

Design of the 2013 Sonata

The Hyundai Sonata has a rearview camera, HD radio, heated front and rear seats, (depending on the level), infinity sound system and a user-friendly navigation system.

Design of the 2013 Chrysler 200

Chrysler's 200 is a cool car. It was designed that way. The 200 can be a convertible or a sedan. With the convertible, you can have a folding hardtop or a cloth roof. Depending on which level you buy into, you can get leather seats, Boston Acoustics speakers, easy to use instrument panel, LED ambient interior lighting and 17-inch wheels.

Conclusions

The 200 and the Sonata are pretty competitively priced. The Sonata gets a few more miles to the gallon than the 200, but the 200 has more horsepower and it offers a convertible model.
